But there is a certain difference. Or even two.
It is one thing when massive propaganda is going on, like, on all sides, the centenary of Ilyich, here any healthy organism will begin a natural rejection reaction. But so quietly, gradually, you can eat, and will not get sick. Addiction ...

Second: the Turukhansky land is not Red Square. A little less affordable. And the trip there is somewhat different from the school bus tour - this is a pilgrimage, with the inevitable romanticization of the object.

Only after all, there is a difference here. Bonaparte symbolized freedom, an opportunity for a capable person to break out of the lower classes to the very top: "Who was no one has become everyone!" And Stalin is the religion of those who were and is nobody, and wants to stay anyone. Stalin means universal equality in non -freedom, where the difference between the "zone", the islands of the "gulag archipelago" and a "large zone" spread out of the "zone" is not so significant.

Of course, you can’t forget about Stalin. Only this memory should be ... taking into account the context, or what? Meanwhile, the discussion of the restoration of the monument to the leader, who outraged the Prienisei open spaces for a day, showed that the “healthy forces of society” are by no means powerless. So the governor Khloponin in Izvestia said that, they say, we will not demolish the old monuments, but we will not build new ones either. And Pashchenko is looking for explanations with the "memorials" - they say, like, not at all in mind.
