And finally they turned to not spend time for nothing, directly to the president. The president examined and helped. I think today is the best sports story of the year. Reflecting all the magnificent device of our sport. There are two main sports models. Sovetskaya, when sport is financed by the state, and Western, where state assistance is small, and sports teams are funded exclusively by private individuals or corporations. In Russia, a hybrid was produced: when, for example, Sechin can collect a meeting and inform six large firms, that from now on they voluntarily sponsor the football team and equally voluntarily identify it and so many. Just as Soviet citizens were once almost voluntarily given to the crew for crews for the bonds of the State Council or paid contributions to DOSAAF, Osvod and God knows where. We have units among sports clubs really live with private money. The rest are financed either directly from the budget, or “on a curve” - by actual removal of money from companies in favor of teams.

At the same time, the same Tomskichi loudly voted about the “social role” of football. This role exists. And many thousands of people really need football. There are cities where there are no entertainment at all, except for football once a week. But do not forget that we are talking about professional sports and its most popular form. This is a kind of show business, this is a spectacle that thousands of people come to look at. This is what is shown on television. That is, what should be earned by at least something, and not spend budget money. Yes, I know that even in developed countries, football is usually unprofitable. That we have no television pays hundreds of millions for the right to show football, that tickets for the stadium are cheap, that the advertising market is undergoing. That is, objectively, the level of income of our professional sports and football is still small. But the level of expenses from the "best samples" does not lag behind!

I understand that football players will always receive more pensioners, doctors and teachers, that their careers will end at 35 years old, and by this time we must try to secure a worthy future for themselves and their families. But at that moment when thousands of people lose their jobs throughout the country, and hundreds of enterprises are closed, it is immoral to go out with requests such as “Give us money, otherwise we cannot pay our forwards and goalkeeper $ 15-20-30 thousand a month”! And these are not the largest salaries. We also have such wizards of a leather ball who receives 10 thousand euros per day! And so that they have the opportunity to receive this money, state men are bending large firms, and they lay out millions.

For firms, this may not be so many, but these expenses were probably not laid in their budgets. And the fact that for so many months the sponsors have not been voluntarily (without quotation marks), too, is not just. This is not extra money, because now there is no extra money. But they were found somewhere and gave them to Tomsk.

By the way, why in Tomsk? Why did this story turn out so loud? With all due respect to this team, behind it there is neither a great story, nor great victories. When they say that her loss would become a disaster, this is a strong exaggeration. Why then do not call the disaster the death of the volleyball CSKA, who was actually synonymous with Soviet male volleyball and its Olympic victories? The Perm Ural Greet was twice the Russian basketball champion, and now also bankrupt. The famous Voskresensky “chemist” also remained without money and will not play in the KHL. Suppose football is more important. But why then not to save the legendary Moscow Torpedo, which perished already in the 3rd, amateur league? Or the silver medalist of the Russian Championship Volgograd "Rotor", which sank in vast expanses? During this year, the existence of about three dozen teams in different sports ceased, many of which are much more glorious by Tomi, but they received shish without oil, and Tomu - 315 million.

And here, I think, the latest trend has appeared. You can call her Pikalevsky experience. There, people who really brought to the edge shouted throughout the country and achieved something. And this experience was adopted by others. Not only those who were really worth hoping, but also such comrades as in Tomsk began to scream. The ability to play a tragedy, to steal thresholds, to raise the people, to reach heaven - all this is now in price. But isn't it any other way? What is the use of 300 million handouts? This money will be spent. It will, by the way, is not known how. Because it is well known that a significant part of the budget money allocated for professional clubs is vulgarly plundered by their so -called managers.

It became clear about the crisis in the fall. Everyone had time to do something. It was time, do not convince me of the opposite! And not everyone flew into the pipe. And not all of the saved ones are top clubs with loud names. The Tomsk budget is evaluated in different ways, since our teams have closed budgets. Madrid Real Madrid or Manchester United has transparent budgets, but Tomi does not. But they talk about $ 25-30 million. Which the team did not have. A virtual amount was laid in the budget, and now it is collected with the help of Medvedev and Sechin! And if you get compressed in expenses? Do not buy expensive players and do not pay crazy rollbacks to their agents? Selling one of the leaders whose salary is no longer affordable? To settle in five stars, but at least in four, to fly not regular, but charters? This is not so much about Tomsk as in general. There were those who realized that in a crisis it is certainly impossible to live in a wide leg. But there were a minority.

They say: what about the struggle for high places? But if you have no money and you cannot afford championships - live in the means and set real tasks. Tom could say goodbye to the Premier League. Annoying, but this is not the end of the world. If there is money only on the first league, play there so far, there is no first, play the second - there will be no big trouble. Get rich - come back. Here is the Vladikavkaz “Alania”, once the champion of Russia, by the way, sank to the second division, but gradually comes to life, next year there is every chance to return to high society. And Tom would play a year or two “floor below”.

And if the townspeople really cannot live without a team, if they tell us that Tom is all Siberia and the whole east of the country - so declare a subscription! Let citizens transfer a thousand rubles. A thousand rubles are, maybe a lot, but if love is great, then this waste is no longer so disornse, right? And if the fans are really millions, so you can collect a good amount without Sechin. But no one will transfer money! They will rally and demand that the state pay. It was paid to those who should earn themselves, who call themselves professionals, managers, interprets about the market and tossed the millions of W.E. Only not by his own, but by strangers. Obtained as if on a porch.

A crisis is a great opportunity to learn some lessons. Let us recede from the current position for some time, but we must begin to live in sports only with the money that we can afford to spend without ruin the budget. Teams should become private. When a person spends his money, he spends or, in any case, tries to spend it wisely. And when a person spends other people's money, he spends it at best, as it hit, and most often just steals.
