The acute discussion of potential threats from Asia that unfolded since October (concluding the notorious Putin agreements in Beijing) gave an occasion to reasonably speculate on the possible ways to prevent colonization of Eastern Siberia and the Far East from a dangerous neighbor. Since I gave a certain tribute to this topic in a number of my publications on the pages of the "daily magazine" (in particular in this ), I would consider it appropriate to add something.
To understand the ways and the course of the expansion of China in the Asian expanses of Russia, attention should be paid to the problem of civilizational and cultural. If compressed, then it consists in the following.
Russia and China are obviously belonging not just to different civilizations, but to different types of civilizations: ideological (“Christian” or, political correctly, “western”) in the first case and geographical (“yellow”) - in the second. The difference between these types is noticeable even in the names. Chinese civilization is not called Taoist or Confucian, since it existed before Lao Tzu and Confucius and was mainly born of the geographical isolation of a huge territory. A feeling associated not only with geographical isolation, but also with economic self-sufficiency, contributes to the formation of the concept of "country-civilization" or "country-civilization-center of the world." In other words, isolation and self -sufficiency create in the minds the idea of a native country as a separate world the size of a planet or excludes other civilizations from the world except their own. Therefore, geographical civilizations are traditionally alien to the religious and territorial expansion outside the boundaries created by nature. The density of the population - the carrier of civilization for centuries for the survival of geographical civilization was achieved as a result of a consistent policy of assimilation of foreignization elements, whether they are local residents, conquerors or immigrants.
Overpopulation as a civilizational problem, aggravated by the end of the 20th century, greatly shaken the previously existing isolationist representations of China. Territorial expansion as a means of overcoming a demographic impasse significantly changes the civilizational program. Therefore, it is difficult to doubt that China and India (also related to the geographical type of civilizations) will be forced to try to increase their territory in the future due to the demographically less quick neighbors.
The situation with the designed, now officially, economic presence of China in the non -European part of Russia is fraught with the fact that in the design “The owner is a colonial worker” (this is exactly what the relations of the Chinese chiefs and local populations look after the well -known agreements) the loss of cultural and even religious identity by Russians in Siberia and the Far East is not so incredible. The expression of this, first of all, is the threat of demographic expansion from China as a forced civilizational need.
The Chinese policy on the regulation of the birth rate (primarily among the Han residents, which make up 92% of the population) led to a monstrous sexual imbalance. Boys are born significantly more than girls. This is recognized as a problem at the level of the highest leadership of the PRC. Almost 30 million Chinese men are experiencing problems with the search for a marriage partner in the metropolis (we are not only talking about registered relations, but also about civilians). In Russia, as you know, a reverse imbalance, although not on such a monstrous scale.
It is these celibate immigrants that will form the basis of labor migration in accordance with the Putin-Chinese agreements at the mining enterprises of Siberia and the Far East. It is easy to guess about the prospects of the massive presence of Chinese sexually mature mass in the Russian depopular outback. We note that the Chinese do not have religious prejudices for illegitimate relations and marriage with the Russians. Taoists or Confucians, or even simply unbelievers, they, not knowing the idea of God as a supra -deciduous creature, are united only by a common yellow race. The Chinese have no religious restrictions in this regard: they drink vodka, they eat pork, have premarital sex.
Historian G.M. Osokin in his wonderful, but little -known outside of Siberia, the work of Muscovy in the East wrote about the phenomenally fast transition of Russian immigrants under the influence of natives to paganism. The Orthodox faith in contact with the foreign environment of the Russians was not as strong as it seemed. Moreover, now, in the conditions of authoritarian degradation and moral decay, there is no need to talk about the cultural and spiritual power of Russians on the deserted outskirts of the empire. Yes, and in a situation of humiliation, which Russians are subjected to the will of the Kremlin with the adoption of Putin agreements. Worse: the Russian environment is even fascinated by the power and influence of the growing Chinese neighbor (we are “Zimbabwe”, and they have corrupt officials). So it is quite possible to imagine in the first generation of children from mixed marriages of Russians and Chinese by the Confucians, but with difficulty Orthodox Christians.
However, there is still a way out. And no matter what, this exit in the people themselves.
By the end of the XI century, among the steppe-nomads (we are talking about hires, which in Mongolian means “eight”-by the number of genera in the tribe), a new passionate layer of dissatisfied and decisive people arose. They opposed the then existing order, in which the highest power was transferred exclusively by the right of birth (due to the complexity of the hereditary procedure, the newborn could become the most worthy of the less painful fellow tribesmen). The “disagreements” were deprived of those who were higher than them by origin, i.e. The elite, and they had to express their dissatisfaction according to the concepts and rules of that time. They robbed. Although, perhaps, this is an addicted look from the present XXI century. It was such people who belonged to the “trodden” (marginal, as they would say today), from the traditional tribal environment, the son of Esugeus-bagature, Temujin. They called such special people "people of long will."
Is it worth it to spend money on an unprecedented impulse that this environment generated, when only a million Mongols managed to subjugate for several centuries a vast people's sea - from China to Bulgaria (the population of China, who was split in the XIII century conquered by the Mongols, was 100 million. The ratio of 1 to 100, quite comparable with Russian Asia). Despite their modest numbers, the Mongols managed to keep the conquered peoples in obedience and even master the newly acquired lands.
So, what conclusion from this consideration should be drawn in relation to the problem of the threat of Asian expansion and the “adjacent” to these threats of the Kremlin elite?
“People of a long will” in Khabarovsk or Irkutsk (and, of course, a very insignificant amount), whether the will of providence, are quite capable of subjugating the social situation and establish the necessary control over corrupt corrupt authority. They in their essential understanding are the owners acting when “fasting”, and when “spear”.
The capital should not be transferred to Siberia or to the Far East, as, indeed, not to transport officials there (which will inevitably be accompanied by such a move) and passionate youth (it will come in handy in the European part), and to give all the real full power to the people who are already living there. We must stop living from the raw materials wealth, which are beyond the Urals, spending acquired income in Moscow, or even beyond it. Moscow, in principle, should stop “growing wealth” of Siberia. To live central Russia should not be natural rent, which leads the country to the third world, but with a new innovation economy, on the basis of which the achievement of intelligence and culture.
20 million Russians living outside the European part should be fully given to the property, if not developed deposits of oil, gas and metals, then at least all those new ones that were included in the list of 209 projects on the Putin agreement with Beijing. “People of a long will” themselves will find the opportunity to dispose of these wealth: it will be necessary to hire the Chinese, it will be necessary - they will - they will drive back to the Celestial (as the masters!), Take loans in Western banks or hire the army of guards from Russians, or even the African Americans (without looking at the Kremlin, sold Russia, sold to the west, etc.). In such conditions, the threat of depopulation would not be so irreversible. Demographic diffusion still cannot be avoided, as, indeed, to catch up with the Russians of the Chinese by number in the most visible future. In addition, let's say, some “family” are already very heterogeneous (mixing with the Buryats, nevertheless, they did not become Lamaists). The main thing in the rod is the Christian civilizational culture (which, so far, is still left). The loss of cultural identity threatens only the forced, dependent colonial population, and not to the owner, whom the authorities are afraid to make Russians in Siberia and the Far East. The danger of spiritual expansion - falling away from Orthodoxy - for the inhabitants of Siberia and the Far East (the transition to Confucianism or to other "godless" forms) is significant only in conditions of general social and cultural degradation. The latter has a large extent material nature. Poverty, drunkenness, degeneration is a consequence of the long -term robbery of the natural wealth of Siberia and the Far East of the current corrupt authority.
All of the above ideas are not very new and already had their own programmatic expression in the first quarter of the 20th century in research and the short political practice of the Siberian regional. In this regard, it should be emphasized that “people of long will” are not marked ideologically - we can’t judge whether they are liberals or nationalists, but it does not have to be that in the near times they will approach the final and inevitable decisions. The current government, which seems so unwavering and terrible, may, it may become, itself will fall at their feet.
