A matter of honor

Today, the Khamovnichesky Court of the capital received a lawsuit from the Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service for Moscow against Yuri Schmidt and Evgeniy Baru, as well as the television company Ren TV. The reason was a TV story where Schmidt talked about Khodorkovsky’s hunger strike, and Baru reported “about the search carried out at Lebedev’s place, as a result of which he was hit in the liver and caused pain.” The FSIN is eager to defend its honor, dignity and business reputation, which, according to officials, was encroached upon by the lawyers of the ex-heads of YUKOS and Menatep.
