From October 15 to 17, a rehearsal of universal nuclear war is taking place throughout the Russian Federation. It is called the command and staff of the "thunder-2019". According to the Russian military by a foreign military attache (separately, having made a reservation that we are talking about the manifestation of goodwill, since the contracts do not oblige to this), troops of all four military districts and the Northern Fleet will be involved in the exercises. During the exercises, it was supposed to launch 16 cruise and ballistic missiles. Two rockets of the RSM-50 (SS-N-18) will be launched from submarines along the Chizh training ground in the Arkhangelsk region. Another ballistic missile-“Sineva” (SS-N-23)-will be launched from a submarine at the Kur Kur Kamchatka training ground. The ground intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" (SS-29) will also be launched there. Strategic bombers will launch cruise missiles. The ships of the four fleets and the Caspian flotilla are also shooting winged missiles. 213 launchers of strategic missile forces, five strategic bombers, five atomic submarines are involved in the teaching.

The acting head of the Main Directorate of the International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Evgeny Ilyin, who conducted a briefing for the military attache, emphasized that "the purpose of such informing is to prevent incidents during military activities and the prevention of incorrect interpretation of the events."

In my opinion, the declared scope of the exercises (unprecedented during the entire existence of the army of modern Russia) do not give the opportunity to “incorrect interpretation”. We are talking about working out ways of conducting universal nuclear war. Such a war will begin with the use of non -strategic agents (cruise missiles) and end with a massive nuclear blow, which will mean the death of all living things on planet Earth.

General Ilyin was not too concern when he revealed the script of “Thunder-2019”: “The teaching scenario does not provide for counteraction to a particular state or group of countries. The intention of the exercises is assumed that in the context of preserving the conflict potential along the perimeter of the borders of the Russian Federation, the situation is escalated, as a result of which a threat is created to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state. ” Words about the absence of counteraction to a particular state look especially sincere, given that Russian exercises take place on the eve of the maneuvers of the US strategic command Global Thunder-2020 (Global Thunder-2020). As part of these maneuvers, according to the seal, three US strategic bombers have already been transferred to Europe, which flew to the Kaliningrad region. Well, what is not the "escalation of the situation" around the perimeter of Russian borders! We can conclude: in the Russian General Staff, they proceed from the fact that the World Catastrophe will not begin at all with the sudden first blow of the United States, but will become the result of a gradual escalation of the conflict.

More recently, the leaders of states and military departments whenever they were talking about nuclear weapons, they considered it necessary to emphasize: we are talking about political weapons. This weapon exists only to be never used. Today, the use of nuclear missiles becomes an element of military planning, which no one is already shy. Moreover, the task is set to impress a potential enemy with a demonstration of his own power, which is called "measures to contain a probable enemy." I suspect that the scale of the exercises are such that they are not so much restrained as they provoke “opponents” to increase the scale of their preparations.

Moreover, a nuclear war is made possible and acceptable for public consciousness. Remember how T -shirts were distributed in the capital with the inscription "" Topol "is not afraid of sanctions"? In a serious analytical publication, an article appears that the destructive consequences of the nuclear war are not at all as monstrous as they still believed.

Just in the media, a very indicative correspondence discussion of the two military leaders, acting and retired, took place. The chief of staff of the 15th Army of the Aerospace Forces, Major General Anatoly Nestechuk, in an interview with the Echo of Moscow radio station, said that the country's top leadership will have enough time to make a decision in the event of a missile attack on Russia. “The flying time is different. It all depends on where the rocket flies from. I will not name the exact figure, but in general, the time is very enough. Not a minute, not tens of minutes. More than tens of minutes, ”said the general. To the interview, the former chief of the anti-aircraft-rake troops of the special forces of the Russian Air Force in 2007-2009, Colonel Sergei Khatlev, immediately responded to the interview with the NSN. He called the statement of Nesterchuk irresponsible. “Talking about tens of minutes or more is unrealistic.
