The French Embassy resumed on Thursday, December 14, accepting visa applications for tourists planning to go on bus tours. After the French Embassy in Moscow stopped issuing visas to Russians who were planning to go on bus tours during the New Year holidays, the vacation of about a thousand tourists who had already paid for their trips was in jeopardy. According to PCT estimates, losses to Russian travel agencies from such actions of the French consulate could amount to approximately 800 thousand euros.
