It is obvious to the forum participants that Orthodox publications are emerging from the “dark corner” and are gradually turning into an integral part of the Russian media. However, there are still a lot of problems, and the festival is an opportunity to discuss them together. For example, there is a shortage of qualified professionals because religious journalism is hardly taught anywhere. The church leadership is even considering whether to introduce journalism courses in seminaries. Indeed, to a large extent, it depends on the church press whether society can hear the word of the Church.
