Miss Islamic World became a girl from Nigeria

Obabia Aisha Adzhibola from Nigeria became the winner of the beauty contest among Muslim women, who took place on September 18 in the capital of Indonesia Jakarta, reports The Daily News .

The 21-year-old adzhibols, after the announcement of her name, burst into tears and thanked Allah for the victory right on the stage. In addition to her, 19 more girls from Indonesia, Iran, Bangladesh, Brunei and other countries took part in the competition. The contestants competed in reading by heart of the Qur'an in Arabic and demonstrated hijabs on the catwalk.

Recall that Indonesia in 2013 also hosts the traditional Miss World contest, which will be held at Bali. This caused the indignation of many Indonesian Muslims, and they decided to hold an alternative competition.
