The results of the week. Smerdyakovschina
If we talk about the main character, the main driving force of the outgoing week, then it was not Medvedev with his interview to Pozner. And not a monstrous dragon law that actually prohibits any mass events that are not pleasing to the authorities; Not the Duma deputies of the uninstalls and not members of the Federation Council, who ensured the rapid passage of this law through what is called the Russian parliament. And not even a gloomy and irritable guide, all week quite unsuccessfully trying to catch the Chinese economic wind into Russian sails. The main character, the main driving force of the week was the triumphant Pavel Fedorovich Smerdyakov. His erysipelas was clearly visible in the well -groomed physiognomy of Putin and Medvedev, Naryshkin, Matvienko, ordinary Dumans and members of the Federation Council - all who personify the existing regime.
And the point is not that they all lied in the most arrogant way - this has been doing this for the past ten years. The thing is that they did not even try to give at least the appearance of truth with pronounced words. With some special enthusiasm, they showed their exceptional baseness to the city and the world. Like Smerdyakov, they reveled in their own meanness: "Everyone sees everything, they understand everything, but it will be in our opinion."

Putin, who reported at the completion of the summit, set the tone that "as you know, the European Court of Human Rights recorded that there are no political motives in the criminal case and the verdict against Mr. Khodorkovsky." Meanwhile, this lie was long refuted: the ECHR did not find political motives only in the arrest of the ex-head of the Yukos. Well, then the Nationalist said that the purpose of the new law is to approach K, no more, no less, European standards and norms. And the EU leaders who were present at the same time ate this to the pleasure of Putin V.V.
But Dmitry Medvedev even surpassed his boss this week. With a nasty smile, he told Pozner that neither he, the prime minister, personally, nor the entire United Russia party objects to the federal channels invite “oppositionists” (while the country's best interviewer dare to name at least one of these “opposition” named). And if they are not called, so only because the journalists themselves do not want this. Here Medvedev was invited, and he immediately arrived. And Posner said nothing.
The apotheosis of Smerdyakovschina was the adoption of the dragon law on rallies. The only goal is to intimidate potential participants in protest promotions on June 12. On the one hand, prohibitive fines are up to 300 thousand rubles. Just a person who destroyed the evidence, which allowed the killers in the village of Kushchevskaya, was awarded to 150 thousand rubles of a fine. It seems that demonstrators in the eyes of Russian lawmakers are much more dangerous than the accomplice of the killers. They are even more dangerous than the killers themselves and terrorists. Let me remind you that some time ago, the Moscow mayor awarded riot police wounded on May 6. Not all OMON fighters wounded in the North Caucasus received such gifts.
Those who consider themselves the legislator joyfully, in front of the whole country, violated all the necessary procedures, just to fulfill the will of Vladimir Putin. In the Duma, due to a demarche, the opposition United Russia did not have the opportunity to talk much. In order to reject the amendments of the opposition, representatives of the party authorities had to press the buttons in an accelerated mode. But the accelerated discussion of the bill in the Federation Council resembled Galich’s song on a rally to condemn the Israeli military. “I met with labor collectives in the regions. They are against gay parades, Halloween, hunger strikes and nights, ”one legislator said. “They are waiting for this law as a gift.” “What have we survived! They started with peaceful rallies, and finished that yesterday the “Pussy-Rights” stormed the State Duma,-another worried. “Most want to defend himself from an aggressive minority, and we are obliged to stand on his side.”

Valentina Matveenko remarkably demonstrated that she was not in vain moved to the bosses over the Federation Council. Not at all embarrassed, she said that she had not received any appeal from the adviser to President Mikhail Fedotov, who asked to postpone the consideration of the scandalous bill.
Vladimir Putin himself did not deny that the message from Fedotov received. However, I did not consider it necessary to pay attention to it. On the blue eye, he said: “Comparing the law with similar legislative acts of other European countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, France - judging by these materials, in our law there is not a single provision that would be more stringent than the measures provided for by similar laws in the countries that I named.” At the same time, he ignored that the promised fines are absolutely not comparable to the income of Russians. Well, there is no need to talk about the fact that in the countries listed by Putin there is an independent, not a fable court. Here, a pause is much more curious, taken by the national driver for more than a day. His silence, after the shameless race of the Duma and the Federation Council, clearly demonstrated the degree of respect for the head of state to parliament.
If someone specifically set himself the goal of discrediting power in the eyes of Russians, he would not achieve a better result. After all, Smerdyakovschina, which spilled over all branches of power, is the most obvious proof of its decomposition.
