The North Caucasus Military Court sentenced contract soldier Alexander Krivoshonok to 18 years in prison. Relatives of those killed will be paid benefits in the amount of 600 thousand rubles. Last November, in the Chechen village of Staraya Sunzha, Krivoshonok, who was under the influence of alcohol and drugs, shot three people during a document check. He was found guilty of murdering two or more persons for hooligan motives in order to conceal a crime (Article 105 of the Criminal Code, Part 2, paragraphs “a”, “i”).
