The doctor was acquitted

The Izmailovsky Court of Moscow acquitted surgeon Alexander Prokofiev, accused of illegally using ketamine. According to the court, the clinic where he worked had all the necessary permits to use the psychotropic drug, and the surgeon himself did not make any profit from his activities. At the same time, he was accused under an article that carries a sentence of 7 to 15 years. However, the prosecutor's office intends to appeal the verdict. She already managed to do this once, when the court acquitted the transplant doctors.
