The answer to the question of whether protection against meteorites or car is possible begins with a conversation about the possibility of detecting them. Theoretically, our terrestrial radars of a missile attack system could detect them. But there are two conditions. Firstly, a meteorite or car must get into the radar review sector. Secondly, it all depends on the effective reflective surface of these celestial bodies. If metals are contained there, then detection is possible. If these materials are radio industry, that is, they do not contain metals, then they cannot be detected and detected. This means that there is no one hundred percent opportunity to detect the falling celestial bodies.

In addition, if a meteorite or a car was even found, then the time of the fall of the celestial body will take only a few minutes. The only thing that could be done in such a short time could warn about his fall. For example, give a signal of air anxiety, which in our usual conditions does not work. That is, a warning in such a short period is also problematic.

Finally, actually protecting against the fall of a meteorite or car today and in the foreseeable future is impossible. Russian air defense systems will not be able to do this for the simple reason that they simply will not have time. In addition, they are not capable of defeating objects flying at such a speed. This is not a calculated speed for them. There is no existing missile defense system in Russia. But if we had a missile defense systems like the American “Ijis”, they would still not be able to destroy the meteorite, since the principle of damage to them is kinetic and they could only pinch off some small fragment from the meteorite. Thus, I do not see protection against meteorite in any area of ​​Russia in the current conditions. However, this applies not only to Russia, but also to any other countries, since even the American missile defense system, as already mentioned, cannot reflect meteorites.
