Apple has released the long-awaited update to its mobile operating system to version 7.1. This is reported on its official website .

Most of the changes in iOS 7.1 concern the stability and speed of the system (including the speed of animations for opening and closing applications and folders). External differences are mainly related to the dialing and answering screen: some rectangular elements on them have been replaced with round ones.

iOS 7.1 debuted support for the CarPlay car platform, which allows you to control your smartphone through the car’s on-board computer: answer calls, change music and view maps. Notable changes have also been made to Siri, Calendar and iTunes Radio.
As noted in the press release, this version of iOS 7 works significantly better on older devices like the iPhone 4.
The release of the last major update to iOS 7, numbered 7.0.4, took place on October 22, 2013. Since then, Apple has released two more small patches that address specific security issues.
The beta version of iOS 7.1 became available to developers in mid-November 2013. Since then, 5 more updates have been released for it, the last of which was released on February 21.
