As the media, brands and bloggers responded to the legalization of same -sex marriages in all the United States
On June 26, the US Supreme Court recognized the same -sex marriages legal in the territory of all the United States: earlier they were legal only in individual states. US President Barack Obama spoke out in support of same -sex marriages and called the court a “victory”. TJ collected a reaction to a historical resolution in the West and in Russia.

For same -sex marriages, the majority of the judges of the Supreme Court voted - five “pros” against four “against”. This means that now such marriages are legalized in all 50 states (before adoption - 36): from June 26, entry into one -sex marriage is recognized as constitutional law in the United States.
Previously, the recognition of same -sex marriages was not in federal jurisdiction, but in the jurisdiction of the governments of each state separately. Four judges, including the chief judge John Roberts, advocated that the new decision is unconstitutional, and the ability to allow or prohibit such unions should be left behind the States.
Hope for the equality of marriages should not be condemned. It cannot be crossed out of one of the oldest institutions of civilization. They ask for equal rights in the eyes of justice - and the constitution guarantees them these rights.
Anthony Kennedy, judge
The decision will enter into force within a few weeks. The disagreements with the Supreme Court have three weeks to appeal his decision. Currently, in those states where same -sex marriages were prohibited, about 70 thousand pairs live , who want to legalize relations.
US President Barack Obama immediately responded to the decision of the Supreme Court on his Twitter.
