Russia is introducing quotas for the first time on the import of incandescent lamps into the country. China, for example, is allowed to import into the Russian Federation no more than 13 million light bulbs per year, Ukraine - no more than 8 million, and the EU countries that were leaders in this market - no more than 31 million. As Kommersant writes, the idea of ​​quotas belongs to the president of the international lighting industry holding V.A.V.S. Viktor Stolpovskikh, who controls 90% of the production of incandescent lamps in Russia. The new law makes the company a de facto monopolist on the Russian market.
