I have never been a supporter of the opposition confrontation with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. No matter how hard they behaved, I always understood that they are the conductors of the political will of the authorities and it is necessary to fight primarily with the cause, and not with the investigation. “Our enemy is in the Kremlin,” I explained to the comrades. “The authorities will only be happy if we will fight the cops and leave it alone.” In general, I adhere to this point of view now, but with one exception. This is an exception - the Center for Combating Extremism, the Center “E” ( since 2011, the Main Directorate for Combating Extremism and Centers in the Regions and in the Place - approx. Corny ), the guard and the fifth department of the KGB in one person.
The impetus for revising my indifferent attitude to this structure was the circumstances of the personal property. The detention of my six-year-old son Ivan, his subsequent interrogation in the police department and pressure on his nanny, 16-year-old Victoria, too clearly demonstrated the unlimited essence of this police unit to ignore him.
Having taken protection measures and sending my son “to emigration” to Siberia, I began to collect information about the activities of the “E” center. It was not difficult to start this process - a huge array of information was already accumulated by supporters of “other Russia”. None of the four dozen criminal cases that have been instituted against my comrades in the last three years did without the participation of “echniks”. The National Bolsheviks are so accustomed to their presence and pressure that it began to be perceived as the norm. Well, yes, since we are engaged in politics, the regime presses us with the help of our chain dogs, we thought calmly.
The surprise was another. It turned out that the sphere of “interests” of the Center “E” now includes not only activists of political organizations, but also people who have no direct attitude to politics: journalists, human rights activists, bloggers, trade union leaders, just citizens with an active life position. Here and there, in the vast vast people, people face the obsessive attention of strong guys who look like bandits. It seems that the state considers the fact of a free independent behavior of a citizen to be a threat to itself. I got out? Became noticeable? Immediately take the “pencil” “relevant authorities”. They will come to work, home, to the neighbors ...
The last and most egregious example - the employees of the EE center began to go home to the homes of readers of the Big City magazine, who had the courage to send statements related to the case of Taisiya Osipova to the prosecutor's office. “How did you learn about the Taisiya Osipova case?”, “Do you go to rallies?”, “What sites are you visiting?”, “What political organizations do you support?”, The young people asked in perfectly clean boots. What is this not a campaign of mass intimidation of citizens? And in fact, terror.
And such an organization, the political police essentially, as if nothing had happened, continues to operate in our country, suppressing freedom, multiplying the number of prisoners in politically motivated affairs. It is valid on the basis of anti -exploration legislation, adopted five years before the creation of the E -E -E -E -2002 Center in 2002. In the first years after the entry into force, these laws were practically not applied - it was a laying on the future “turned on” when the time came. Now the block of anti -ethnic laws is only growing, no turning of a police pressure on critical citizens is observed.
In this regard, I wonder: what is the political reform advertised by power if the political police and the legal basis of its activities are not subject to any reform?
Let's figure it out. The basis of political reform is three basic laws: about political parties, about the election of governors and the presidential election. In the first case, the required number of parties is reduced by as much as 100 (!) Times - from 50 thousand to 500 people. In the second - direct elections of the governor by the population of the region are established. In the third, the required number of signatures for presidential candidate decreases from 2 million to 300 thousand.
It would seem, what is not liberalization? However, the law on the presidential election will come into force only in 2018, and then either "the ishak will die or the padishah will die." Whether we will allow us to choose governors, it will become clear not earlier than May, when the State Duma will consider the law - that is, after the inauguration of the newly elected president. The liberalization of the Law on Political Parties is generally explained by the change in the method of monitoring power over citizens' associations. Experts have already explained that under the new system of power, a large number of small, even regional parties, among which voters will be sprayed, are profitable. This will allow URA to control the parliament, even having minor support in society.
Thus, the reform proposed by the authorities fundamentally and immediately does not change the political system, but it allows you to win the time and re -elect Putin for the third term. In combination with increased pressure on citizens from the political police - the E -E -E - this unmistakably indicates the approach of Putin's power revenge immediately after his re -election.
So if the opposition wants to achieve a real change in the situation in the country, it should be adopted by the requirement of the immediate dissolution of the Center for Combating Extremism. Until this is done, it is impossible to hope for any political reform. The center "E" should be closed!
