Sarkozy won the first round

Voice votes are almost completely calculated in France, reports Reuters .

The first round of elections with 31.11 % of the vote was won by the representative of the ruling law-conservative party "Union for the People’s Movement" by Nikola Sarkozy.

25.84% of the French voted for the representative of the opposition socialist party, Ruayal. Both of these candidates go to the second round.

The third place from 18.55% of the vote was taken by the leader of the centrists Francois Bayru. The fourth was the leader of the extreme right-wing national front, Jean-Mari Le Pen (10.51%).
