I'm not afraid!

On Saturday, a rally of supporters of the famous Soviet dissident and writer, presidential candidate Vladimir Bukovsky, was held in Moscow. About 300 people gathered on the triumphal square. They chanted: "For your and our freedom", "Bukovsky is our president", "Down with the power of the Chekists."

Bukovsky explained that he was going to the elections, because "the authorities must understand that the opposition, freedom of speech and the observance of laws are needed for the normal political process." "I arrived because they began to be afraid, and when they were afraid, we must get up and say: here he is! I'm not afraid!" he said.

Famous Russian human rights defenders, journalists, activists of the Moti and Defense movements came to support Bukovsky. The rally was performed by members of the Bukovsky initiative group, as well as journalist Dmitry Bykov, editor -in -chief of Grani.ru Vladimir Korsunsky and others.
