The theme of Biennale - “What people do for money: joint projects” ( What People do for money: even Joint Ventures ).
Over these projects, 29 participants in Biennale, the list of which is given on her website, will work together with the residents of Zurich. Thus, Maurizio Kattelan (Italy) will create his own project together with a paralympic athlete, Carles Congost (Spain) will work with firefighters, Shelley Nadashi (Israel)-with a literature teacher, John Kessler (USA)-with a watchmaker, Evgeny Antufev (Russia)-with a pastor, and Michelle Welbek (France)-with a doctor, with a doctor, with a doctor Which in the presence of the audience will arrange a complete physical examination to the writer.
The sites of joint projects will be the places of professional activity of the Zurichites. In addition, the work of the participants in Biennale will be exhibited at the Migro Museum of Contemporary Art, the exhibition space of Luma Westbau / Pool , the Kunsthalla Art Museum and the Helmhouse Gallery.
Video recording of the process of working on joint projects will be shown on a large screen in the reflections pavilion - a floating platform built in the middle of Zurichsky Lake.
In addition to joint projects on Biennal, the work of another 48 artists will be presented, including three representatives of Russia - Olga Chernysheva, Alexander Shein and Anreya Tarkovsky. They will take part in a historical exhibition prepared by the curator of Manifesta 11 Christian Yankovsky and Franca Gavin.
