A series of events, the result of which was the sentence of Navalny, led to the actual abolition in the territory of the Russian Federation on the media and some other laws, in particular Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Obligence of the legal professional activity of a journalist”. In total, 235 journalists were detained during the protest.

But all this applies only to independent media. State media, as a result of events related to Navalny, generally unconditionally support Putin, moved to the careful criticism of the security forces and ships for their softness and “liberalism”.

The tantrum of Lavrov, Zakharova regarding the presence of 33 foreign diplomats at the court of Navalny, was obviously played in nature. All these people are well aware that the case of Navalny is exclusively political in nature, and this whole story with poisoning and shameless court is directly related to human rights, which, as you know, cannot be the internal affair of a particular country. What does the cries of Zakharova and Lavrov do about “interference in the internal affairs of Russia” by a meaningless set of sounds. And the Western politicians simply could not take a different position, except for the condemnation of the Kremlin’s actions.

Emmanuel Macron, President of France: “The sentence to Alexei Navalny is unacceptable. Political contradictions can never be a crime. We call for his immediate release. Respect for human rights, as well as respect for democratic freedoms, cannot be the subject of bargaining. ” Exactly the same position, expressed in other words, the heads of Germany, the UK, the Baltic countries, the European Union, American senators expressed.

However, the Kremlin seems to arrange a complete value gap with the West. Putin feels quite comfortable in this clear, black and white world where there are no halftones and colors. Where the West will not pester with nonsense like human rights. Where the youth will be faced with a choice: either demonstrate loyalty, or go first to a car gut, and then to the barracks or prison. Where journalists have no rights at all, except for the right to lie and maintain power.

The only problem in this world is that it is still impossible to completely isolate from the world's world. Therefore, the Kremlin really wants to somehow limit the Internet, and it is best to turn it off at all. It doesn’t work yet, because no one knows how this thing is arranged in the Kremlin and where it has a switch ...
