Mininformsvyazi: MGTS overestimated tariffs

MGTS set unreasonably high tariffs for telephone conversations, said Leonid Reyaman, the head of the mininformslavia. He stated this on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.

"We support the position of Yuri Luzhkov, who opposed the 90 percent increase in payment for local telephone services in Moscow," he said.

"Since the connection has always been considered a socially significant service, the increase in prices for local communication services will primarily hit the low -income segments of the population," the minister believes.
