At the same time, in his opinion, parliamentary elections in Russia as a whole can be considered democratic, since voters "had the opportunity to vote for opposition parties."

On elections day, observers from several parties announced numerous violations recorded by them in the elections to the State Duma. In particular, representatives from the Communist Party announced the facts of illegal agitation, as well as that in a number of regions observers are not allowed into plots.
