This is "life" ...
Part of the Izvestia labor collective, dismissed by the new owner of the newspaper, in her statement expressed anxiety for the future of domestic journalism.
This is in vain.
From the transition of Izvestia under the wing of the “King of the Yellow Press” and his unceremonious actions, domestic journalism, in my opinion, can win-how the patient can win from any accurate diagnosis, no matter how difficult he may be.
Izvestia has been degraded for many years and long before Mr. Gabrelyanov became one of the symbols of the Putin’s press-pleasing to power and shamelessly aggressive, when the FAS team comes from this power. But the train of the glorious past and a number of legendary names in memory prevented readers from adequately perceive the new spirit of the newspaper. Many of the inertia read Izvestia and, by inertia, considered it respectable - so the moose for some time go to a dry water ...
Talented and honest (normal) people fell from Izvestia (normal) people-who with a censorship scandal, like Andrei Biljo, some kind of “parts”, in silent awkwardness, like Irina Petrovskaya ... A rare reverse movement-such as the appointment of Sergei Mostovshchikova-it looked like an anomaly: it was not possible to harness a free person and knowingly Antisons (in our case) corporate interest.
Do not come to the “Izvestia” “King of the Yellow Press” with his reorganization, Mostovshchikov would still not live there: the corporate “horse” would trample him sooner or later, without any doubt. On the first serious order, Sergei himself would slam the door ... There was no chance, in essence. Unless the former owner of the newspaper Vagit Alekperov, who "ate" at the time of the editor-in-chief of Izvestia Igor Golembovsky and thus laid the foundation for a shame, would suddenly burst into tears with a cry "what kind of insignificance" in the morning he rushed to call the brothers Kovalchuk, and those, with a symmetrical way, gave Mostovshchikov a carte blanche to return an honest one Journalism on the stripes of the once glorious newspaper ...
But everything turned out easier and more logical, i.e. Right on the joke: to mice. The newspaper was given to Mr. Gabrelyanov, and this saved the situation of halftones for all participants in the process. Now those who are in a share can finally go into all the grave, without simulating respectability and objectivity, and those who are still tormented by nostalgic “Izvestin” motives have the opportunity to drink without clinking, in memory of the departed (long-gone, by golly, for a very long time ...)-and with a light soul to call an abomination.
In my opinion, domestic journalism will only benefit.
