Rampant democracy

According to reports from Osh, quite a large number of policemen and soldiers have already gone over to the side of the revolutionaries. The rebels seized the buildings of the Regional Administration, the local prosecutor's office, the court and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Opposition rallies are taking place throughout the city, at which speakers call for the overthrow of the “criminal government.” Opposition leaders are busy forming self-defense units and "people's militia." An appeal to the leaders of the CIS countries and heads of influential international organizations will be made public in the near future.
