In society About ethics An interesting topic was bombarded from my note in the “HED” about the deputy of Chilingarov. (I described our regular meetings in the casino and near them.)
A certain reader (apparently dedicated to the rules of ethics) sodelly inquired in the forum : am I going to look now and in bed with politicians? No matter how a strange author seems to be, the question is not quite rhetorical.
In principle, about the "left" beds, as they say, if only to health. "And a bug, and a spider, and a bear!" The harm from the leisure of our political elite in any case is less than from the activities of these gentlemen during working hours.
But if in the aforementioned bed the politician entertains the money of the taxpayer, the taxpayer has the right to be interested in what is happening. Not from the point of view of Kama Sutra, but from the point of view of the Criminal Code.
And the public’s outraged cries of interference in personal life, memorable to us at least on the story with a person who looks like the prosecutor general of Skuratov, seem to me a testimony of complete confusion in the heads (note, quite man -made confusion).
We will figure it out. Let us leave the level of ethics of those who, with the help of the “poured” “poured” Skuratov, who decided to play against Yeltsin, is another topic, although it was very entertaining: it was in those days that attentive viewers first saw the quiet head of the FSB Putin, and the family was able to evaluate the level of his personal devotion ... Consider the Skuratov conflict separately from the collision of a change of power in Russia.
So: the “personal life” of a person, similar to the prosecutor, took place in the rented apartment of the General Prosecutor's Office - i.e. We took it off, throwing it out of taxes. Prostitutes, as all the media claimed in one voice, paid for Skuratov by the investigated businessman Egiazaryan.
This rather expensive gift, of course, could be a manifestation of the usual human sympathy for the prosecutor, but, it seems to me, the disinterestedness of this mutual sympathy (and the case of Egiazaryan was soon closed) still requires evidence, is it? Or is it also an intervention in personal life?
If with the "beds" it is clear, let's move on to gambling. Here, no doubt, everything is more ambiguous. In the end, play or not play a casino to a person (as well as walking or not going to prostitutes) is a personal matter. And although in some Sweden one such fact would be enough to drown a politician, I personally do not find moral peaks for condemnation.
I repeat: Personal business! In this case, the altar only does not need to stand and talk about morality on TV, and so - play and hut on health ... But on your own!
For I should notice: a casino is much more costly than prostitutes (unless you consider the version that Arthur Nikolaevich Chilingarov knows how to negotiate not only with the Kremlin, but also with the theory of games).
Therefore, we, taxpayers, have every reason to assume that for many years the costs of a large state official were several times higher than his salary. Or does the vice-speaker of Chilingarov, contrary to the law, have some other business? In any case, this is an occasion to start asking questions, right?
These issues - both Chilingarov and the hundreds of his colleagues, combining the service of people with a variety of curses, could set the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General’s Office, but they had long focused on Khodorkovsky. And at present there is no hope to switch their attention. I don’t have to count on the specialist Khinshtein, the specialist Khinshtein, to the special team-so I ask questions on my own, through the modest Internet “Hedgehog” ...
And everything is in order with ethics, a respected visitor to the forum! Moreover. If you and millions of other Russians, the situation with ethics in the country, began to ask these questions with a choir, I assure you, and would have seriously improved. At least, Arthur Nikolaevich would tear his eyes off the chips and would remember that he was “like” a politician - a person who exists with the money of the taxpayer and obliged to answer their questions immediately and essentially.
But millions of taxpayers only shrug, but the most advanced of them are also pacing about the level of ethics of journalists, which means that it remains only to wish Arthur Nikolayevich success in his difficult leisure, fifty dollars per minute.
