One problem: in the first verse the words “president” and “steal” appear side by side. The composition was performed on October 23 on Channel One in the “Times” program. From the next day it was supposed to be broadcast throughout the country, but federal and then all music TV channels and radio stations refused to show the clip. Unclaimed as a patriotic song, Gazmanov’s song may well become a new revolutionary anthem.
