Despite the fact that the case of an alleged robbery involving the taking of fur hats, which, according to investigators, was carried out by oppositionist Leonid Razvozzhaev, had expired, the Left Front activist was transported from Moscow to Angarsk, where this incident allegedly occurred more than 15 years ago . There are three completely different crimes in Razvozzhaev’s case: in addition to robbery and preparation for organizing mass riots (the case was initiated in the wake of the scandalous NTV film “Anatomy of Protest-2”, where it was alleged that Razvozzhaev participated in negotiations between the oppositionists and the then representative of the Georgian authorities Givi Targamadze, discussing the details protest actions in Russia), also illegally crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border in October of this year (recall that Razvozzhaev was kidnapped by unknown persons in Kiev when he was trying to obtain refugee status; he was taken to Russia, where, according to the oppositionist’s story, he was threatened and tortured, thereby thus ensuring that he wrote a confession, which he later refused).
Razvozzhaev's lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky intends to appeal his transfer.
