According to Grigory Yavlinsky, success in the capital's elections is an important step towards building a serious political democratic organization in Russia that will be able to participate in elections in 2007 and 2008. The opinion of the Yabloko leader was also supported by Nikita Belykh, Chairman of the Federal Political Council of the Union of Right Forces. However, loud optimistic statements are far from real implementation. The right has not yet spoken about the timing of the creation of a unified democratic force.
