On December 21, an action was held near the Duma building, designed to show the deputies of the sixth convocation that they are illegitimate. In an action called “They will not pass! We will not allow impostors into parliament!” Several dozen people participated. It is clear that the 21st is not the 24th, but several dozen - not several tens of thousands, and in this case the authorities did not give their gracious permission to protest, so the protesters were detained. Among them are activists from The Other Russia, civil activists, and journalist Arkady Babchenko. According to the website OVDinfo.Org, activist Pavel Shekhtman was placed in the temporary detention center of the Tverskoy police department after a report was drawn up against him. He was told that he would not be released until three hours had passed since his arrest. All detainees are charged with participation in an unauthorized rally (for which a fine is imposed). OVDinfo reports that the ubiquitous Alexei Okopny took part in the arrests.

As it turned out later, “The Other Russia” activist Sergei Aksenov was left at the Tagansky police station, and he was charged under the notorious article of disobedience to a lawful request of a police officer. Apparently, Okopny could not miss such an opportunity. In addition to Aksenov, the same charge was brought against civil activist Gennady Stroganov and Defense member Fyodor Khodkov, and they were also left at the police station. According to Babchenko, no one made any demands on the detainees.
