Banishing the Witches

Former hippie, and now coordinator of the Union of Orthodox Brotherhoods, Yuri Ageshchev appealed to the President of the Russian Federation and the Mayor of Moscow with a demand to close the Witch’s Happiness store located on Maroseyka.

“Let them propagate their “views” anywhere, but not in Russia, and certainly not near the walls of the Moscow Kremlin. Moreover, as far as everyone knows, its current inhabitants position themselves as “Orthodox,” the activist told Gazeta.RU.

According to him, he received an “unsubscribe” from the mayor of Moscow, but no response at all from the president.

The Witch's Happiness store sells so-called esoteric goods: souvenirs, self-improvement literature, jewelry, interior items, etc.

Ageshchev’s letter was forwarded to the prefecture of the Central Administrative District for “consideration.” Based on its results, the head of the enterprise was asked to change the name.

It should be changed to “The Witch’s Misfortune”, this name should suit Ageshchev and his associates - well, witches are no strangers, they haven’t dealt with such difficulties.
