My husband decided to go to a rally in front of the consulate. And I thought of staying at home and drawing fish. The evening before, he pulled me away from the fish and asked me to draw him a poster. With Karl Gauss, who is indignant. Or rather, he is in complete amazement at what was done to his honest Gaussian during the elections.
There were supposed to be two posters - one with Gauss indignant, and the second with his correct Gaussians, and under them incorrect graphs of election activity. I got a portrait of Gauss and from the gloomy old man I quickly drew him in Photoshop as an amazed old man, as if telling us: wow, what did they do to my Gaussian!
We also argued about what language to write in - I wanted in Russian, my husband ordered in English. And they made this poster, about 45 by 60 cm:
In general, I think that for a rally there is no need to be so subtle, you need to make posters strongly and clearly so that it is immediately visible. People liked the poster, but, in my opinion, no one realized that we edited the portrait. One boy asked - did you find something like this on the Internet? That is, Gauss looked like a portrait of Gauss, well, sometimes he was a little surprised. Personally, I suggested that in order to immediately see that Gauss is fake, we should immediately give him the eyes of a rabid hamster and make his lip hang wider. Something like this:
And everyone would understand that I worked on it in Photoshop.
Well, that was what happened. I hope the mathematicians got the joke. And I didn't get much sleep. I don't get up as early as today. How do you like my Gauss?
