Mediafiya. Shame
Today, the word "Maidan" has entered all the languages of the world. As a little earlier, the Russian words “pogrom”, “satellite”, “perestroika” entered into all languages of the world. Language interventions cannot be organized, they cannot be paid, they occur naturally, as the reaction of mankind to the contribution of one or another people to world civilization. The Kiev Maidan as a unique invention of the Ukrainian people, as a know-how, is not only in the political struggle, but also a way of organizing the social and spiritual space, will undoubtedly enter all textbooks and reader in political science, and as a sociological phenomenon is still waiting for its researchers.
On the same days, in a neighboring country, in Russia, before our eyes, another phenomenon is further developed, which also awaits its thoughtful and very patient researcher. This is the phenomenon of Russian television and in general modern Russian journalism.
Television on blood
The first object of television violence was the calendar. Sonya, a crazy hare and hats from Lewis Carroll's fairy tale always showed five, which means that there was always time to drink tea. On the Russia 1 channel, almost the whole last week was Sunday, which means that almost the whole week there was a Sunday evening with Vladimir Solovyov. However, no. It was precisely that on Sunday "Sunday evening" was not. And there were good reasons for this, which a little later.
Since all these “Sunday evenings” with Solovyov differed very little both in composition of the participants and in ideas, I will not analyze them separately, and first I will highlight the main idea of all this non-stop. She, this thought, or rather, a call, and even more precisely, a cry: well, give up someone this Maidan reptile! Many experts of Solovyov, carefully heated by the host, fell into hysteria. The writer and political scientist Oles Buzin, who apparently spent the whole week on the air of Russian TV, which could not but affect his health, said that the Maidan is a blow that the United States and the European Union are inflicted on Russia, and Ukraine simply turned up by the arm. After that, the writer said that the world is on the verge of the 3rd World War and therefore Russia must urgently enter the troops into Ukraine. Apparently, according to Buzina, this should become the beginning of the 3rd world, which he, Buzina, considers it impolite to keep on the threshold for a long time.
Then Zhirinovsky entered the battle, who said that Ukraine is an artificial state, the main goal of the West is the war of Ukraine and Russia, and therefore "we will burn the whole of Ukraine." The end of the quote. I had to hear from familiar political scientists that the LDPR is an artificial party grown in the KGB test tube. But these political scientists were not so decisive and did not propose “burning the entire LDPR” in the head of its leader.
Such determination, obviously, is an attribute of a special profession, whose representatives recently concentrated on Russian television. These are verbal security forces. The verbal security forces is a person, as a rule, a semantic or, conversely, suffering from unhealthy fullness, the humanitarian by profession, often wears glasses. It requires the introduction of the death penalty for most of their opponents, as well as the most decisive, as a rule, military operations in relation to countries that the verbal security forces do not like. The verbal silovik itself, as a rule, is involuntary liable. A typical verbal security official is Sergey Kurginyan. However, a representative of this profession can be a woman. An example is Irina Yarovaya.
In Sunday evening, Solovyov had a curious moment when, among the flocks of verbal security forces who were ready immediately, with the languages at the ready, to rush at the enemy, was one real security officer, namely General Anatoly Kulikov, a former Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who did not first know what a real war, and especially the country within the country with the participation of the civilian population. He was the only one among Solovievsky experts said something articulate about the possible behavior of Yanukovych in a crisis in Ukraine. I emphasize, not correct, namely articulate, that is, what can be somehow discussed. He proposed introducing a state of emergency and at the same time the same document announce the creation of a coalition government and to appoint early elections of the president and parliament. What has begun here! It seemed that the poor general would now simply wipe the indignant verbal security forces. "How can you?!". “What coalitions with the Nazis?!” “What are the elections with the participation of Bandera?!” “Only destruction without mercy and delay!”
The Ukrainian idols of Russia 1 were the mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes and the head of the Kharkov region Mikhail Dobkin all last week. The efforts of Solovyov and other television cultures from them were carefully sculpted on the air of the Ukrainian Minin and Pozharsky, ready to get up at the head of the Ukrainian front and end the Red Army to defeat the Nazis and Bandera. Turning to these people who are called dopa and hepa in Ukraine, Soloviev each time certainly put on a tragic face and asked if the Kharkov front would go to the end in the battle with the Bandera? In response, it was harsh: "We should not allow the Nazis to host on our land."
After known events on February 22-23, discuss something Ukrainian in the “Sunday evening” format, that is, with the same host and the same participants (there are no others!), It was completely impossible. Therefore, “Russia 1” acted sequentially, namely: after spending Sunday evenings in several weekdays, she canceled the Sunday evening on Sunday. The burden of protecting the country, and not only countries, but also of the entire Russian civilization, from the Bandera threat, Dmitry Kiselev carried out on his weekend. No, of course, there were Pushkovsky “postscript”, “Time”, and the Entevehny “Today”, but this is all, of course, not that. Pushkov, he is still more for those who are at least a little immersed in the problem. “Time” and “today” are not so philanthropists and expressive. And Kiselev so injects accents that the chips are flying.
And for better absorption of the current slogan, it hangs posters on the backdrop of the studio. What happens in Ukraine? Poster: "The end of statehood?" And already verbally and with hope: "They will kill even more aimed, more vigorous and with enthusiasm." And further: "Ukraine behind the threshold of the Civil War." "Who is to blame?" Strange question! Naturally, the West! And the fact that the number of those killed among the protesters is an order of magnitude more than the dead police officers is simply explained. In order for the audience of Russia 1 to understand, for them, caring Kiselev hangs the poster “snipers like doping”. That is, it was the Maidan leaders who sent snipers to shoot at their own Maidan. This technique is so cunning to keep the protesters in tone.
"Kiselevshchina" as a separate type of communication, despite all its absurdity and disgust, is quite effective. According to the recent surveysuperjob (a sample of 1600 representatives of the economically active population from among those who know about the situation in Ukraine), to the question "Who is more guilty of violence in Ukraine?" The answers were assigned like this:
32% - radicals from the Maidan
28% - power
40% - both are equally.
This is after dozens of corpses. But Thomas data before a lot of blood spilled. To the question "Who do you support in the conflict in Ukraine?" answered like this:
28% - Yanukovych
6% - opposition
36% - do not give preferences to anyone
30% - found it difficult to answer.
Now the only hope of the verbal security forces of Russia is Crimea. Most of the program of Kiselev was about the militia, which is collected in the Crimea. Kiselev spoke about this with hope. And the fact that 60 years ago the volunteer of Khrushchev to Bolshean transferred the Crimea to Ukraine, and then, first during the time of the Brezhnev stagnation, then in the bustle of perestroika, "they forgot about the peninsula." Kiselev spoke about this with obvious annoyance and in direct text, he actually stated that the Crimea actually went illegally and now is the time to remember this.
At the moment when I write this column, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are considering the suspension of the broadcast of Russian television channels to Ukraine. I have always been disgusted with administrative measures in relation to the media and journalists. But in this case, such a surgical intervention would support, since it is not about journalism, but about extremist in the worst sense of the word propaganda. Propaganda, calling for a civil war to the earth of a neighboring state. Propaganda creating the image of an enemy, a fascist and a terrorist of people, among whom there are not a single fascists and terrorists, but nationalists, yes, are found, but much less often than among Russian television channels. (I will try to prove the last thesis in the third part of the column, where it will be about the coverage of the Olympic Games.)
On conscience (or what they grew up there) Kiselev, Solovyov, Pushkov and other mammoth blood of those who died on the Maidan. The courage, resistance and purely Ukrainian stubbornness of the protesters saved Ukraine from the immeasurably greater blood that Russian television channels were called to. But in addition to the verbal security forces among Russian journalists, there was a rather large layer of those who believed and continue to consider the Maidan and its inhabitants simply near people who waste their time, and sometimes their lives.
Journalism of glamorous penguins
On the day when the most tragic events occurred in Kyiv, on February 20, a column of Maxim Samorukov under the name "Why Ukrainians are not for freedom, but in vain, was published on February 20. The author wonders: what is Ukraine on February 18, 2014 so fundamentally different from Ukraine on February 18, 2013? What is important in the country, that there was such an acute need for mass suicide? The author is ready to agree that there are some problems in Ukraine: “Of course, many journalists were left without work, someone took a business from someone, and in general the atmosphere in the country has become more plunged. But to the bloody dictatorship there it was still like Mercury. ” That is, of course, “horror”, but not “horror-Uzhasas”!
And then the whole column is dedicated to the call to “wait on the knees” (formulation of the author). The author gives historical examples proving, in his opinion, the meaninglessness of active protest: “Why did the Polish“ solidarity ”in 1981 melted people in the fight against General Yaruzelsky, when in a few years Moscow itself abolished Soviet power throughout Eastern Europe? She canceled the same for everyone, excluding past successes in anti -Soviet activities. ”
At first I thought that the author was staring, and began to look for a “sarcasm” sign, but did not find, but I saw a vote under the article, in which almost 10 thousand people took part. The question "How is it better to do the Ukrainian protester now?" received the following distribution of answers:
70.36% - disperse to stop violence
29.64% - to stay to the last, freedom is more important.
I understand everything: the fact that this is an audience of Snoba, and that the design of the question is a curve and forming, because it is not a fact that "disappeared" "stop violence." But, still, the results seemed something like a diagnosis. Both Russian journalism and Russian society.
Merab Mamardashvili, in whose philosophy, freedom was one of the central categories, separated a slave from a free man very simple. The slave is not ready to sacrifice life for the sake of freedom, and therefore always remains a slave and dies a slave, and a free person is ready to do this at any second and therefore lives free, and, by the way, on average much longer a slave and, certainly, immeasurably happier.
It is amazing that neither the author of Snob, nor 70% of his readers, who chose “waiting on the knees”, did not come to mind that the Polish “solidarity”, which in 1981 “molested people in the fight against Yaruzelsky,” became one of the factors “canceling the Soviet regime throughout Eastern Europe”, and, in any case, brought the date of cancellation.
Applying the design of the rhetorical questioning of the author "Snob" you can ask: what will happen if the terrible will happen if you are spitting into the physiognomy? Or publicly give a slap in the face? Or even rape their wife? Is your physiognomy to spit or slap different from your physiognomy after these actions? And how much will your spouse before the abuse differ from himself after this event? Is it rational in the first, second, and even in the third case to enter into a clash with offenders, risking losing health, and possibly life? The response of supporters of “kneeling expectations” is known. Some Ukrainians have already answered. And non -verbal. The real, and not just the verbal response of Russian society, may be given in the coming years.
Olympics missed through Zhirinovsky
Of all my familiar fans, the maximum pleasure from the sports action of the Sochi Olympiad was received by those who watched games on foreign channels. That is, those who enjoyed sports, not missed through Russian sports commentators. But we still had special programs dedicated to the “analysis” of games, their backstage nuances and other prepared details. One of these broadcasts "Live" with Boris Korchevnikov of February 21.
The first part of the gear was under the motto “Red Combat Land”. That is what the leader of the two young Russian figure skaters called, who won the gold medal at this Olympics. And Korchevnikov liked this metaphor so much that he constantly used this phrase, speaking of girls. Although, in my opinion, neither 15-year-old Julia Lipnitskaya, nor 17-year-old Adelina Sotnikova, did not resemble the car, and even more red, and even more so combat. Although they do not argue about tastes and associations.
Since Zhirinovsky and another deputy from the LDPR named Denin participated in the program as a sports expert, the discussion of sports quickly acquired an acute-patriotic orientation and in the air smelled something like a patriotic fully. After all, the main thing for us is that the enemies were envious of our victories, so that the elbows would bite and burst with anger. And without this, what is the victory? And this joy was brought to us by some people who, on some site, began to discuss the legitimacy of assessments set by our skater.
It was a gift to the program participants. Hungry threw a bone! “When a Russian girl wins, someone always does not like it!” This seems to be Zhirinovsky. Or maybe someone else is in the range from money to Korchevnikov. The key word "Russian". "We" and "they." All our sports and near -sports commentators talked about games not as sports competitions, but exclusively as the struggle of Russia with the rest of the world. Each sports victory was called historical, it was said, more precisely, shouted, or even more precisely, squealed that "this day would go down in history." Moreover, the screech of a historical victory accompanied only our victories, and all the others were so -so, completely unrestric. Remember, I promised you to prove the thesis that the Maidan is less than the percentage of nationalists than among Russian television journalists? Walk out. About the Maidan, where a Jew in a cype, and Georgians, and Armenian stood nearby, and many were normally owned only by the Russian language, everyone knows well. Now about journalists. Who is our main characters in the games? That's right: two really wonderful skaters, about whom they constantly say that they are Russians. They brought the team two gold medals, one individually, the second along with the team.
There is a person who brought Russia 4 medals, of which 3 gold. True, he is just learning to speak Russian. This is the Korean migrant worker Victor An. If it weren’t for him, Russia would not have won a general medal offset, and Putin would not have become a triumph, which symbolically appropriated all Olympic medals. The Golden Medal of Russia was brought by American Vic Wilde, two gold medals Ukrainian Volosozhar and other not quite Russian athletes. Their victories are reported, but, as a rule, without anguish and screech.
The Olympic Games have long ceased to be what the founders wanted to see them, that is, a sports of healthy people, lovers. Now it is a sight, business and politics. Sochi games will go down in history, but not only with records. They will go down in history with the background on which the dramatic birth of a new Ukrainian statehood and a shameful judgment on the prisoners of Bolotnaya took place. And also by the fact that they were missed through Putin, and other Zhirinovsky, Korchevnikov and Kiselev. And from this they got some kind of taste. Something from them gives them so not very pleasant. However, they do not argue about tastes.
