On June 12, 1990, the Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR adopted a declaration of state sovereignty of Russia.
And on June 12, 1991, popular direct elections of the President of Russia were held, at which Boris Yeltsin won. In 1994, this day was declared a public holiday, and in 1998, Yeltsin proposed calling him “Russia's Day” in his appeal to compatriots. Here, in short, and the whole history of the holiday.
Who is now emasculated.
In the original, this day marked the birth of a new, democratic Russia, which dropped imperial bells. After all, sovereignty was proclaimed not from anyone, but from the Soviet Union, from its supreme communist power.
Similar holidays in all former republics of the USSR, which turned into sovereign states, quickly and organically became popular, familiar and loved. For patriots, and just citizens of their countries, they mean getting rid of the tyranny of Moscow, the long -awaited national liberation. The blessed holiday of the collapse of the Union.
Here is not so.
As soon as somewhere in the mid-90s, we, the mother of Gaidar and Chubais, put the cheeks a little and a little queue for a frozen, dirty potatoes and one bottle of vodka in one hand, as they immediately remembered the lost Soviet Union. Until then, a natural desire to eat and something more or less decent to cover the shame overshadowed the nostalgia for the lost power. And here, grunting saturatedly, we fell off, scratched a causal place through a brand new jeans fabric ... something like it was ... But what?
Ah, yes - USSR!
And give us him here! To live and pick us in our teeth not somewhere, but in the Great Empire! And so that the Lithuanians and the Armenians serve us and there were smaller brothers to us!
Then, in the damned 90s, the state, although it did not possess monopoly power in the media and did not engage in propaganda, but took on the work to explain to the workers that this toy is not for sale in stores. Sorry, they say, guys, but you will no longer be a kina called "Soviet Union".
However, in the blessed 2000s, and especially in the sacred 2010s, after the second coming, the song went different. The anthem of the Soviet Union approved by Stalin was our state anthem. And it was not just a sign, but a software choice. “Our Motherland is the USSR” is the most popular inscription on T -shirts long before the Crimea. Therefore, Crimea fused so easily in the souls of Russian citizens: there, in these souls, everything was already ready. Crimea lay on fertile ground. This soil is a fierce, inflated from each electrical appliance, blind imperial vanity. Suddenly nothing began to want, as if never wanted. Except for one - so that the damned pindos are afraid of us, so that we have our pipe. But no - so all the loss!
The country, having seen propaganda, is ready to repeat the feat of Anna Karenina, who, too,, as Count Tolstoy claimed, was friends with a syringe: a little - under the train.
Empire or death!
And so that these people celebrate the Feast of Independence from the USSR?
And that the power that raised these people, who poisoned them with the dream of the past, which was not; power that can no longer change, cannot leave; The power for which the word “freedom” itself sounds like a curse and mockery - so that this power drinks for free Russia?
Therefore, now the Day of Russia, although it is celebrated as before June 12, does not have the slightest attitude to the Yeltsin holiday. No, he is not an imitation, like our court, our parliament, our elections, our press. He is simply, like Victory Day, filled with another meaning.
The present day of Russia is a state holiday. The holiday is pompous and sullen, like the last inauguration of Putin. The festival of the state, which has become sovereign from its citizens, unpredictable and deadly, like an untreated ship gun.
