Organized by the leader of the Center group, Vasily Shumov, a concert in support of art critic Artemy Troitsky, against whom two criminal cases have been opened plus two lawsuits - all for unflattering statements - will be held at the HLEB club on Zvenigorodskoe Highway. Shumov previously reported on his blog that the Central House of Artists, where the concert was originally planned, refused to hold the event.

The concert will take place on June 10. Among the participants are Yuri Shevchuk, Shumov himself with the group, Vasya Oblomov, the groups “Barto”, “otZvuki Mu”, “Last Chance” and others.

Troitsky was offended by the road patrol inspector, Major Nikolai Khovansky, who was the first to say that in the accident on Leninsky Prospekt involving the vice-president of Lukoil, one of the two women who died from a collision with his car was to blame, and by the former lead singer of the Agatha Christie group, Vadim Samoilov. Troitsky, together with Yuri Shevchuk, awarded Khovansky an anti-prize, and called Samoilov a trained poodle under the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Vladislav Surkov.

Shevchuk, at a meeting in the magistrate’s court on June 6, recalled that he also awarded the “Way for the Chariot” anti-prize to Khovansky and that it was their joint idea with Troitsky and Novaya Gazeta. He stated that Khovansky had no right to give interviews to the media and call the deceased woman guilty of the accident before the official conclusions of the investigation. At the same meeting, the chairman of the Federation of Car Owners of Russia, Sergei Kanaev, said that the conclusions of the investigation, which stated the same as Khovansky, were unfounded.
