Fights for the fourth estate

The general director of the TVC channel, Oleg Poptsov, who was dismissed the day before, believes that the reason for his dismissal could have been his film “Your High Loneliness,” which appeared on the channel a week ago. The main idea of the film is that Vladimir Putin is so lonely, his entourage there communicates little with him, that the president does not know the truth about how the Russian people live. Another version, Kommersant writes, is the long-standing desire to become the head of the channel of Sergei Tsoi, the current press secretary of the capital’s mayor.
