The lawyer of Pussy Riot member Maria Alyokhina, Irina Khrunova, reported that her client was transported from colony No. 28 in Berezniki (Perm Territory) to Solikamsk and was introduced there to an order stating that she would no longer work in her colony. According to Khrunova, this should mean that Alekhina will not return to Berezniki; she will be transported from Solikamsk to Perm, and where further is unknown.
At the same time, Alekhine was not warned in advance about the transfer. Supporters of Alekhina from the art group “War” say that the reason for the transfer is that the leadership of the colony is dissatisfied with her. Indeed, Alekhina fiercely and courageously fought with the colony administration for her rights.
The defense argues that the transfer decision could derail a scheduled parole hearing.
