Left Front coordinator Sergei Udaltsov was arrested again. He was able to be free for only a day after several transitions from the special detention center to the hospital and back. Let us recall that on October 12, Udaltsov was detained for allegedly disobeying the demands of police officers during the Day of Wrath. Udaltsov was arrested for 10 days and went on a dry hunger strike. On October 20, he unexpectedly returned home from the hospital. But on October 21, officers from the Kitay-Gorod police department took him straight from his apartment. Formally, he should be released on October 22 at 20.30. However, the police officers are threatening to give him another sentence, this time under the article “Unauthorized leaving the place of serving administrative arrest”: they say, he himself had to return to the special detention center from the hospital.

Udaltsov resumed his dry hunger strike.

Meanwhile, the collection of signatures in support of Udaltsov continues. The appeal calling for the release of the politician was signed by the head of the Moscow Helsinki Group Lyudmila Alekseeva, the leader of the movement “For Human Rights” Lev Ponomarev, the head of “The Other Russia” Eduard Limonov, the “Solidarity” activist Ilya Yashin, the Duma deputy from “A Just Russia” Ilya Ponomarev (State Duma deputy from the “A Just Russia” faction), Left Front activist Konstantin Kosyakin (Left Front, Mossovet), leader of the Movement in Defense of the Khimki Forest Evgenia Chirikova, head of the Collective Action Institute Karine Clement and others.
