According to the results of the meeting of the Russian Union of rector, our national leader issued a list of instructions, indicating the direction of development and improvement of our higher education.

The first point is the one for which any more or less responsible teacher will vote with both hands: “To ensure an increase in the minimum number of points of the Unified State Exam in general subjects necessary for entering the training of undergraduate programs and specialty programs, as well as the differentiation of this minimum number of points, depending on the specialty and the direction of training of higher education.”

The goal is obvious: the most capable young people, and not loafers and losers, who need to be ruined from the army and extend the carefree youth, should enter the institutes. Only such characters and all kinds of benches, focused on the maintenance of such clamps, are beneficial to lower the minimum points.

Surprisingly, other instructions did not cause such an unambiguous understanding. For example, the president pointed out the need to assist universities in creating and ensuring the activities of student sports clubs, as well as work on the dissemination of student sports development.

"Why do you need this?" - some colleagues ask me. But how twice two is obvious the relationship of these points! As well as why such instructions appeared right now, in the current heavy and alarming international situation.

Clause one increases the influx of Russian recruiting Russian citizens into the ranks of our valiant armed forces. And those who entered universities should be given the opportunity to strengthen themselves physically not on the army march, but in the walls of the native educational institution. Russia needs sports and politically competent students who are ready, if necessary, with weapons in their hands to defend the independence of our country or to fulfill international duty in neighboring territories.

Some will immediately object to me that, of course, the development of the system of sports student clubs will increase the level of physical training of students, but is unlikely to ensure a widespread increase in the level of their political literacy. While, frankly, not all students of leading educational institutions of the country are alien to subversive opposition activities or are vaccinated against total cynicism and indifference.

Of course, there is such a powerful, almost slaughter means of political enlightenment of masses as television. But the trouble is: for many students, the main source of information has long been the Internet, not the TV. And on the Internet, you yourself know how many rubbish are written about the policy of our leadership. Of course, even in the current crisis era, the state decides to invest billions of rubles in the development of the system of spiritual and educational centers under the auspices of the Russian Orthodox Church. But, again, will every student go to such centers for spiritual and patriotic growth?

Therefore, it seems to me that it is necessary to complement the list of instructions somewhat, fully ensuring the decision of the military, political and patriotic tasks facing the country. Namely, a kind of political exam should be introduced for students, which they should pass upon completion of training under undergraduate programs or specialty.

Well, to those who showed themselves in sports clubs and received a high score on politicalex, it is necessary to issue an “Excellent and political training” icon, which gives the right to enter the magistracy and graduate school without exams. Again, two hares are killed at once by this decision: an increase in the ideological and political literacy of the student and ensuring the influx of educated youth into the ranks of the armed forces.

It is obvious that in order to prepare for the political sect in universities, a system of political information courses should earn. Of course, exclusively voluntary and optional, for those who want to get an icon of “excellent student and political training”, and not go to the army.
