
Director Marlene Khutsiev died at the 94th year of his life. It is reported by TASS .
The death of the director was confirmed by the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
On March 16, the director was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Botkin Hospital in Moscow.
Khutsiev, along with his wife, was taken to the hospital at the end of December. The woman died in early January.
Khutsiev was born in 1925 in Tiflis. He graduated from the Faculty of Faculty of VGIK and began working at the Odessa film studio, the Gorky film studio and at Mosfilm.
His most famous works are “Spring on Zarechnaya Street”, “Two Fedors”, “Ilyich’s outpost”, “It was a month of May”, “Infinity”.
