Sites and news agencies quote each other, the primary sources - one, two and counted. These are mainly security forces - the same, either blocked in administrative buildings and forced to hold a circular defense or located outside the city. Such an exotic source as the “reception of the President of Russia”, obviously, feeds on the same “secondary product”. Only individual messages come from eyewitnesses, from city streets.

, about the capture of the school, it seems, have not been confirmed. The students from sin were dissolved home - and thank God. What is happening in Nalchik is more like September, but on June 2004, when the militants attacked the location of the "security forces" in Ingushetia.

Only now in Nalchik the time of the attack was chosen unsuccessfully - nine in the morning, the beginning of daylight hours. The city is now blocked, helicopters are barracks over it. In Ingushetia, the militants managed to do everything they planned, until the middle of the night, plundered the arms depots, after which they had several hours for a calm and organized waste. The military did not dare to move the columns in the dark, fearing an ambush. Aviation, despite all the conversations of recent years, also does not know how to "work" in the dark.

It seems that in Nalchik there was a second move for the militants. Maybe they were provoked by a special operation conducted on the outskirts of the city at three in the morning. Maybe they arrested someone from the underground, who “knows too many and many” and during the subsequent “forced interrogation” could all this and much other.

But all this, rather, guesses. In order to understand something, in the coming hours you will have to carefully filter the information flow. The messages about the “militants captivating cars and running from the city”, to Budenov’s reports of a ten -year ago, are too similar.

Another thing is that today's dramatic events in Nalchik cannot be called unexpected: the first and second call has long been sounded.

On August 24, 2003, an ordinary police check in Baksan grew into a real battle. On both sides were killed and wounded. And later it turned out that Amir “Riyadus Sallekhin” Abdallah Shamil, better known as Shamil Basayev, left the “security forces” from under the nose. He left, although he was wounded in his only leg. Republican authorities preferred not to spread about this unpleasant incident, as well as the authorities of the federal ...

The fact that the seventh year on the counter -terrorist operation in fact only fuel the terrorist underground throughout the North Caucasus was said from the very beginning - experts, journalists, human rights activists ... These voices managed to drown out as much as possible. And then the Nord-Ost followed, the explosions in Moscow and the Caucasus, underground and in the air, finally Beslan ... And the “second Chechen” expanded quietly and is already everywhere from Dagestan to Karachay-Cherkessia.

On the night of December 14, 2004, four guards were killed in Nalchik on duty, two and a half hundred weapons trunks and a large number of ammunition were stolen. A few days later, Basayev showed one of the trophies obtained. The special services were seriously worried: the weapons captured in Ingushetia were used in Beslan, what to wait now?

But in Nalchik, serious forces are collected. Here is the department of the anti-terrorism center, and the ORB-the operational-search bureau, the former RUBOP. These harsh, hard and cruel men seemed to be afraid of fear right up to the Chechen borders, and under their nose they missed the daring sortie of underground terrorists.

Note, by the way: why keep so many energy and weapons in the Caucasus, if there is no way to protect at least themselves? Why was the department of Cherkesov to keep such an arsenal and his own “goblins” - is it impossible to use riot police or Sobr? The desire to be “all the most”, departmental disunity is made by a strong weak - and here is the result.

Kabardino-Balkaria was one of the most “stable” republics of the North Caucasus-President Valery Kokov “voluntarily” left his post recently, September 16, after a fifteen-year-old rule. Now we see that this "stability" hid. Most recently, on August 2, the Republican Anti -Terrorism Commission decided: “A real threat of terrorist attacks hung over the republic. To stabilize the operational situation in the entire region, rallies and demonstrations are prohibited. ” The local authorities, like the authorities of the federal, used Zhupel terror to combat any opposition. As you can see, the prohibitions did not help.

What to wait now? In Beslan, the authorities, showing their complete helplessness, sighed calmly when the population “transferred the arrows” to the Ingush. In Ingushetia, after the attack, they began to “clean up” the Chechen refugees, although many of the attackers were local. Now in Kabardino-Balkaria there is a threat of repeating the Ingush script. More recently, September 23, there were mass clashes between local and Chechen students. And now it’s much easier to look for not your own Wahhabi underground, but to be satisfied with an “ethnic sign”.
