Firstly, I want to congratulate all the cute ladies on the wonderful spring holiday on March 8! Beautiful women inspire us to work and exploits, which I especially acutely felt, starting to work in the mode of remote employment, and therefore it is impossible to live without them, that is, without you, dear woman-women!
Unfortunately, various events distract us from those beautiful and elevated. More precisely, not even the events themselves, but rather a hysterical reaction to them from individual exalted subjects, which, alas, are in our scientific community. The exacerbations of them, of course, happen in the spring, which we see this year.
On March 1, the RFFI announced the cancellation of the competition "A". And it began! The first, as usual, was noted by the wounding academics from the club "July 1". However, they do not hide the reasons, honestly indicating it in the first sentence: " Spring came, and with it the spring exacerbation ." I respect it for this, but not for everything else: starting with themselves, they immediately move on to watering the mud of the authorities. The next step in the direction of the destruction of Russian science was made. After reading this, I almost did not fall from the chair: what are they, interestingly, consider steps towards the destruction of Russian science?! The announcement of the national project for science, the construction of Megasaypens and research vessels, the adoption of a program of strategic academic leadership or, like it is there, priority 2030, the announcement of the Year of Science-are these good gentlemen, steps to destroy Russian science, or what?
Further more: “ The ongoing offensive of the bureaucracy is largely reflected by the desire to destroy the last strongholds of honor, independence and independent thinking in the country”, “ The attitude to scientists as the enemies of the people ”, etc. Freedom, genius and glory of the executioner, in general. Well, however, what to take from these representatives of the fifth column: they themselves admitted what their emotions are due to.
It is less clear why the routine decision on the abolition of one of the contests caused such a stir among several more sane people and organizations. Recently, a colleague came running to me, waved his hands, shouted that the RFFI was, but he went out, because they canceled the most important competition, without which thousands of groups would be left without money; That his himself the project ended last year, and now that's it. Of course, the RNF will announce a new competition, but it is just ridiculous: it will be a competition for groups of up to four people for 1-2 years to create an ACDs on new topics for the teams and the formation of new groups. Well, what kind of nonsense, he shouted, what areas on the new topic can be created in a year?! And also publish the article, how does the RNF require?
I listened, looked and wondered: we are adults and reasonable people, we know the rules of the game. I did some work, prepared an article-and sent an application for this competition. I got a grant-the articles embroidered with reference to the grant, did not receive it-embossed the article with reference to something else. No problems!
And it’s very ridiculous to hear statements about the fact that the RFFF was covered with a copper basin. Judge for yourself, colleagues, the announcement of five competitions hung on the site, one canceled, but four more active competitions are left. Where is the sad end of the fund?
And it is worth seeing what these contests are. The competitions are innovative, unusual, interesting, indicating the conformity of the fund to modern trends. Mentor_OPN! I do not swear, I call the competition code, but its full name is “a competition for the best scientific projects of fundamental research in the field of socio-political sciences, performed by a talented youth under the leadership of a leading scientist-a mentor conducted jointly by the RFFIF and EISI.”
Money is given for a year, you can get up to 2.5 million rubles. In addition to the mentor, the scientific group should have from 2 to 4 people under the age of 25, inclusive, having a certificate of secondary education (young scientists), as well as from 2 to 5 people aged 15 to 18 years, studying in educational institutions of the Russian Federation (schoolchildren). This is the implementation of the idea of continuous education! I believe that soon the threads from venerable scientists will reach kindergartens, to nursery groups, and the peanuts will already begin to join the advanced achievements of science in order to future professional self-realization in the field of socio-political sciences. In general, calm down, colleagues, rumors about the death of the Russian Federation are greatly exaggerated, your favorite fund is alive. Get ready to write applications for the New Zaporide Competition of the RNF.
