Activist of the Voina art group Oleg Vorotnikov managed to pick up his young son Kasper from the hospital. It was previously reported that the child was taken from him after being detained at the rally on March 31 in St. Petersburg and he is in the surgical department of a children's hospital with a suspected concussion. According to Vorotnikov's statement, Kasper was registered at the hospital as an unidentified child. The police beat Vorotnikov several times, quite severely, and threatened to deprive him of his parental rights. In another OM, his comrades in the art group “War” Leonid Nikolaev and Natalya Sokol were beaten. Moreover, when lawyer Dmitry Dinze called an ambulance, the team arrived, but without going inside and limiting themselves to communicating with the police, they left. On April 1, a court hearing will take place in the case of Nikolaev, Sokol and anarchist artist Irina Putilova, who was detained along with Vorotnikov.
It later turned out that Sokol and Putilova escaped from the police gazelle on the way to court. Nikolaev and another detained artist, Leonid Gegen, failed to escape.
Many of those detained on March 31 in St. Petersburg remained in various police stations overnight and have not yet been released.
