Sometimes it happens that members of the editorial board disagree on the issue of whether this or that material should be published. This happened with S. Smirnov’s article “Information from matter or matter from information,” published on August 13 of this year. in No. 135: one part of the editorial board believed that this was a funny joke, the other - that it was not at all funny.

Moreover, we had absolutely no doubt that this was really a joke. Unfortunately, as it turned out later, the author takes his creation quite seriously. Happens. The author's attitude to reality is not always immediately recognizable.
