On January 23, from 8.30 to 10.00, single pickets will be held near the Supreme Court building (Povarskaya 15) in support of St. Petersburg Hospital No. 31. As you know, since the Supreme Court is planned to be relocated to St. Petersburg, for some reason the judges there should be allocated a departmental medical center. They planned to take the premises for this center from Hospital No. 31, where children with cancer are treated. The scandal seems to have quite frightened the authorities - local deputies and the Russian Orthodox Church stood up for the hospital - and already the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, who represents St. Petersburg in the upper house, said that no one would touch the hospital. Meanwhile, it is expected that single pickets will also take place at the representative office of St. Petersburg in Moscow.
