Border victory

Today in Moscow, Russia and Latvia will sign a bilateral border agreement. Riga agreed to all Moscow’s conditions - any hints of territorial claims on the part of Latvia, in particular the question of annexing the border Pytalovsky district of the Pskov region, disappeared from the agreement. It was about him that Putin said two years ago: “They will not get the Pytalovsky district, but the ears of a dead donkey.” It must be said that Latvia did not demand the return of the territories, but believed that Russia should recognize the illegality of their seizure.
