The organizers of the December 10 rally against the results of the so-called Duma elections made their demands public. This:
1. Immediate release of political prisoners
2. Cancellation of the results of fraudulent elections
3. Churov’s resignation and investigation of his activities
4. Investigation of all cases of fraud at polling stations
5. Registration of opposition parties
6. Conducting open and fair elections.
In the application for holding the rally, Revolution Square is indicated as the location, the estimated number of participants is 300 people. At the same time, it is obvious that many more people will come: tens of thousands have already expressed their intention to come on social networks. Representatives of the Moscow authorities, who suddenly felt the urge to repair a pipe under the square, said that if there were more participants than stated, they would not allow the rally to be held. Negotiations are currently underway.
According to the latest information, the applicants demanded that the authorities provide the opportunity to expand the space for protesters at the expense of nearby parking lots. Moscow authorities promised to give an answer on December 9.
