The program of Kryakk is announced

From October 31 to November 4, the VIII Krasnoyarsk Fair of Book Culture (KRIAKK) will be held at the Siberian Ministry of Internal Affairs, in which more than 200 publishers will take part in the work. The theme of the fair is “The city in which you can.”

The program of the VIII Kryakk is devoted to the problems of the development of the urban environment and includes a large number of professional and cultural actions, including:

• Public lectures “Open School of City Changes”;
• urban cinema in the project of Beat Films;
• poetic readings in the project "Private Persons" Linor Goralik;
• Presentation of the new volume of “The Pereniona: Our Era” and the film “The Color of the Nation” by Leonid Parfyonov;
• Siberian competition of video poetry Andrei Rodionov;
• Festival of relevant music of Siberian cities;
• A concert of the Russian National Orchestra led by Mikhail Pletnev.

In addition, this year a large children's program and theatrical events are planned at the KRIAKK, as well as the traditional debate of the jury of the Nose Award and the Museum Night.

The guests of the fair will be writers and poets from Russia, Switzerland, Great Britain, Norway and Sweden, German artists and Israeli artists of Contemporary Dance . A professional program for journalists will expand significantly, and the library program will become partially open to the public. Exhibition projects will functionally complement the fair halls, and parallel programs will capture new sites.
