First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of Russia Andrei Kozlov died on Thursday morning in Moscow City Hospital No. 33. The night before he was taken there with severe gunshot wounds. The attempt on Kozlov's life took place on Wednesday evening at about 8:30 pm on the territory of the capital's Spartak football club, where a match was being played between Central Bank employees. After completing the game, Kozlov headed to his car, next to which the criminals were waiting for him. The Moscow prosecutor's office opened a criminal case into the murder.
