The press secretary of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, actually admitted that the plot with the alleged discovery of ancient amphorae at the bottom of the Black Sea with Putin in the leading role was staged. On the Dozhd TV channel, Peskov said that he himself was on vacation in those days, but added that the vessels were found during an expedition, that is, perhaps a few days before Putin met with archaeologists and dived to the bottom of Tamansky bay. The idea that Putin allegedly discovered amphorae at the bottom, as Peskov suggests, belongs to one of the members of the expedition. The amphorae could have been deliberately left at the bottom or placed before the prime minister appeared. According to Peskov, everyone wanted all this to be like it really was for Putin.
