The list is growing

Another suspect in the riots on Bolotnaya Square on May 6 has been detained. His name is Ilya Gushchin. According to investigators, he grabbed a police officer by the uniform and tried to throw him to the ground, preventing the arrest of another protest participant. The investigation allegedly has video materials confirming Gushchin’s actions, and testimony from eyewitnesses who identified him. We, however, remember what kind of video materials the prosecution presents (there may be no footage of the suspect at all) and how eyewitness testimony arises (police officers who initially refused to identify people suddenly identify them months later). So, there are already 20 suspects in the case, most of them are in custody.
